Our event is hosted by WeCanGolf2 and Ground Zero 360 (founder Paul McCormack-world blind golf champion).  We will be paying tribute to our first responders around the world and all of the victims of the 9/11 tragedy. Paul was a first-responder New York City police captain on 9-11 who lost his vision during that horrific attack, trying to save individuals in the twin towers.  He will be on hand throughout the tournament to share his experiences. The WeCanGolf2 board of directors and Paul will celebrate all individuals with disabilities as inspirations to the world.

 

The event will feature a disabled golf clinic open to anyone in the Jacksonville area for free at the Queens Harbor Yacht and Country Club. Participants will get to meet and greet all of our disabled golfers participating in the championship and see them do amazing things at the driving range while sharing the individual stories of how they overcome their own disabilities to achieve greatness.  Following the clinic, we will host a PRO/AM event where sponsors will get to play alongside the amazing disabled athletes. The event will also feature a two-day, 36 hole competition where the top 24 disabled golfers in the world will compete for world golf ranking points and prizes. All of the money we raise, for this event will go directly to our disabled golfers who are participating in the event.

Your sponsorship will directly go to the disabled athletes prize pool for this tournament. You will get the opportunity to play alongside these outstanding world ranked disabled athletes in a fun scramble event. You’ll be amazed by the high-level golfing abilities of these men and women. The sponsorship includes recognition for your business on our website, signage at the event and team recognition during the event. This event will also be broadcast live on YouTube with interviews and live golf action for everyone to see around the world. Your logo will be displayed on our YouTube feed before after end during the event.
