As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to serving the community through our mission-driven initiatives. Our status as a tax-exempt entity under the IRS Code allows us to focus our resources on making a meaningful impact, while also providing our donors with the benefit of tax-deductible contributions. This designation underscores our commitment to transparency, accountability, and the effective use of funds to advance our goals and support those in need.

Mission-Driven Initiatives:

  1. Inclusive Golf Events: Organize clinics, competitions, and educational programs specifically designed for individuals with disabilities, fostering skill development and social engagement.
  2. Scholarships for All Ages: Award scholarships to encourage both young and adult players with disabilities to get involved in the game of golf, promoting lifelong participation and growth.
  3. Industry Awareness & Advocacy:  Raise awareness within the golf industry about the need for increased financial support and resources for individuals with disabilities, driving greater inclusion at all levels.
  4. Mentorship Program: Establish a mentorship network where experienced golfers with disabilities guide newcomers, offering valuable support, advice, and encouragement to help them succeed on and off the course.

How will the funds be used:

  1. Increase the operating budget to ensure continued smooth operations and program growth
  2. Offset rising costs in critical areas such as course fees, website maintenance, insurance, and legal/administrative expenses.
  3. Cover tournament costs, including venue fees, staffing, and logistics, to ensure the success and smooth execution of WeCanGolf2 events.
  4. Fund the tournament purse by providing prizes and incentives for contestants, fostering healthy competition and encouraging participation.
  5. Keep contestant costs affordable to ensure accessibility for all.
  6. Invest in branded materials to enhance the presentation and professionalism of WeCanGolf2 tournaments, elevating the overall experience for both participants and sponsors.
  7. Provide additional scholarship funds to support disabled individuals with the purchase of equipment, access to technology, and educational resources.
  8. Establish a reserve fund to safe-guard the long-term stability of WeCanGolf2 Operations.
